OUR STORY
About ConsumerHealthInsight
We exist for one reason: to give you the honest, research-backed supplement information the industry doesn’t want you to have.
Why we started this website?
The health supplement industry is worth over $150 billion globally, and it’s full of noise. Flashy marketing, dubious claims, and affiliate sites that simply parrot whatever the manufacturer says. We got tired of it.
ConsumerHealthInsight was built to be different. Every review on this site follows the same independent, evidence-based framework. We look at the ingredients, the dosages, the clinical research behind them, and the manufacturer’s credibility, and we give you our honest verdict, even when it’s critical.
Our job is to serve the reader first. If a product doesn’t work, we’ll say so, regardless of whether we have an affiliate relationship with it.
What makes our reviews different?
Most supplement review sites are thinly disguised sales pages. We take a different approach: every review is written as if we were advising a close friend. That means:
Ingredient-first analysis
We examine every ingredient against published clinical research, not just the brand’s own claims.
Dosage transparency
An ingredient that works at 500mg may be useless at 50mg. We flag underdosed formulas every time.
Honest cons
Every review includes clear downsides and who the product is not right for. No product is perfect.
Refund rate tracking
High refund rates are a red flag. We factor customer satisfaction data into every verdict.
Who writes our reviews?
Our reviews are written by health-focused researchers and writers with backgrounds in nutrition science, health journalism, and consumer advocacy. All content is fact-checked against primary sources before publication.
The ConsumerHealthInsight Editorial Team
Our team combines health research expertise with plain-language writing. We cite our sources, acknowledge uncertainty, and update reviews when formulations change. We are not doctors, and we always recommend consulting a healthcare professional before starting any supplement.
About our affiliate relationships
Yes, we earn commissions from some of the products we review. This is how we keep the lights on and publish content for free. However, affiliate relationships never influence our ratings or verdicts. We have published negative reviews of products we have affiliate links for, and we will continue to do so. You can read our full Affiliate Disclosure here.
Medical disclaimer: Content on ConsumerHealthInsight is for informational purposes only and does not constitute medical advice. Always consult a qualified healthcare provider before starting any supplement, especially if you have a medical condition or take prescription medications.
